After the conference concluded, we couldn’t resist taking the ECHO81 XO EXPLR out for some fieldwork. We conducted a fascinating survey near Ayers Island, focusing on the sunken railroad bridge, a tugboat, and an old dam. Using the Kongsberg EM2042, we captured some truly remarkable data that showcases the precision and power of this advanced sonar technology. The results turned out beautifully, and we’re excited to share some classic bathymetric “eye candy” with all of you.
